Grünenthal Pharma AG
Grünenthal Pharma AG is the competence center for the production of semi-solid pharmaceuticals within the Grünenthal network.
Salves, creams, gels, lotions and suppositories are produced in this OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001-certified production facility. The premises are equipped with separate rooms for handling antibiotics and hormones.
The computer-guided scale systems as well as the scanner and barcode-controlled procedures are supported by SAP and are in compliance with Part 11. This makes it possible to develop and produce pharmaceuticals with a wide variety of active ingredients, such as hormones, antibiotics, antifungals and vitamins for the world market.
Our customers can select the services they require from the entire supply chain, beginning with procurement and ranging all the way to introduction on the market.

Grünenthal produces the active substance tramadol in the production facility of Proto Chemicals AG in Mitlödi, Switzerland, which was specifically established for this purpose.
It combines a modern active substance production facility with long-term experience and great expertise concerning tramadol. Proto Chemicals AG is recognized by both the FDA and Swiss Medic and certified according to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
